Anyway, have fun fellow maggots!Įdit: I just realised it's in the chorus of Solway as well, (at 2:24) and this time it sounds precisely the same as the 2002 video, as it's played a bit lower, exactly like in Disasterpieces. I really hope no one has said this before or I'm gonna look a bit stupid. Just hearing Solway played that far back in time blew my mind, and what's more is we had access to it the entire time. I realise that it sounds like it's played a little lower in Disasterpieces, but the arrangement of the notes, the speed, and the fact that it sounds almost exactly the same has convinced me that that riff was written as far back as 2002, maybe even earlier. I believe that Jim kept that riff on the back burner for that long, waiting for the right time, or remembered it one day whilst in the creative process for WANYK.

So I was re-watching Disasterpieces 2002 (the live show), because it's amazing, and after the song Disasterpiece, there is footage of Mick, Jim and Joey sound testing their instruments before the show.
